Posted 28/08/2007 02:17:37 PM | | A battle consists of three parts:
Attack- to attack with your main weapon
Move- to navigate around the field
Use Chip- to use a battle chip; this is not under attack only because there are recovery chips and support chips, too.
The battle starts out with the challenger's turn. You can only do one of the above actions by spending an order point. Order points are returned at the beginning of each player's turn. Also at the beginning of a turn, you can choose up to five chips from your folder.
Combat plays out like this-
During each players turn, they will most likely attack. At the end of every two turns, the damage is calculated, in order of the players' turns. For example:
Navi A uses Cannon A
Navi A uses Recovery10 *
Navi A's turn ends
Navi B uses Guard1 A
Navi B's turn ends
The damage calculation totals the damage dealt. Normally, attacks and chips go in the order of what happened, but if a player used a support chip, that can be applied during any part of the turn. This is the field:
[_][_][_][_][_]
[_][_][_][_][_]
[A][_][_][_][B]
[_][_][_][_][_]
[_][_][_][_][_]
DAMAGE CALCULATION:
Navi A used Cannon A (40 damage)
Navi B chooses to use Guard1 A (50 damage)
Guard1 A reflects Cannon A. Since Navi A is in the path of the shockwave, Navi B's chip deals 50 damage.
A uses Recovery10 *
TOTAL:
Navi A= Hp 60
Navi B= Hp 100
The battle continues until either one navi is deleted or forfeits.
