If you've finshed MMBN 6, you'll know that Lan grows up to become a scientist at SciLab.  Well, on a field test in the Graveyard Area, Megaman was surprise-attacked by Bass.  Bass was still after the power of the cybeast supposedly contained in Megaman's body; he was unaware it was destroted by Colonel and Iris.  While fighting, nobody noticed a huge, dark shape moving up behind them.  It shot out a black lance that inpaled them both, deleting them.  Right before Bass was completely disintegrated, he used his most powerful Earthbreak and destroyed the mysterious creature.  It ruptured and shot out a wave of energy that consumed the entire net.  Almost every navi on the net at the time was destroyed.

Since Bass was involved with this, I might as well put what happened to him down here, too.  When Bass unleashed the Earthbreak, the energy literally ripped his data in two, splitting him into twin navis, one yellow and one purple.  While the yellow Bass was deleted, the purple Bass just vanished from sight.
